FAQ
Q: What is covered under the warranty?
A: All Quantum rods, reels, and combos are warranted against defects in workmanship and/or materials under Quantum’s 1-year warranty starting on the original date of purchase from an authorized retailer. This warranty extends only to the original purchaser and user of the rod, reel, or combo and may not be transferred.
Q: What is not covered under the warranty?
A: Abuse, misuse, normal wear and tear, intentional damage, fire, theft, loss, neglect, lack of proper maintenance, used for commercial purposes or products that have been altered or modified without the permission of the Quantum brand.
Q: Does a Quantum rod, reel, or combo need to be registered to be covered under the warranty?
A: No, but proof of purchase MUST be provided when submitting a claim and registering your product at purchase. Alternatively, Quantum gear can be registered (with proof of purchase) online at quantumfishing.com under the “Support” section.
Q: How does a consumer submit a claim?

FOR ROD OR REEL REPAIR: Send an email to info@quantumfishing.com with the following information:
- Registration information or a copy of the sales receipt for proof of purchase
- An explanation of what is wrong with the product

We will process the claim and determine if it is covered by the warranty. If it is covered, we’ll ship the repaired or replacement product and provide a tracking number. If it is not covered by the warranty, we’ll be in touch to let you know. Warrantied products will be returned via ground unless other arrangements are made prior to shipment.
QUANTUM branded products are warranted for a period of one (1) year from the date of original purchase from an authorized retailer with proof of purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials when used normally. This warranty is offered only to the original purchaser or user of the rod, reel, combo. QUANTUM reserves the right to make all decisions, at our sole discretion, regarding whether a claim qualifies as eligible warranty work. During the warranty period, QUANTUM, at its option, will replace the product covered under this warranty. Other than the shipping and handling charges, no charge will be made for such replacement. A dated sales receipt or proof of registration must accompany all warranty claims.
