Hilariously funny Gerald Swindle, a longtime Quantum pro from Alabama, who makes casting look like an Olympic sport, won the most respected trophy in all of professional bass fishing – the Toyota Bassmaster Angler of the Year.

And talk about team success – wow! Quantum anglers occupy four of the top six places in pro angling’s admired season long points race.

Jacob Powroznik of Virginia continues to prove he can catch ‘em anywhere B.A.S.S. hosts a derby, and consequently ended the year 4th overall. Greg Hackney, who lead the race prior to Swindle taking over, finished 5th overall after a win at BASSfest on Lake Texoma.

Jordan Lee a 24-year-old phenom ended his sophomore year the way he ended his freshman year – with a Top 10 Angler of the Year points finish –finishing 6th out of 100 of the best bass pros on the planet.

All four of those pros would tell you the brand new large-spooled, sporty profiled, Smoke HD reel with its supersized handles has played a major role in their top-of-the-leaderboard experiences.

The 2016 Quantum team has also seen a dominating resurgence of its All-Time MVP, as Kevin VanDam, the most decorated angler of the past 25 years, won a remarkable three of the last six B.A.S.S. Elite tournaments this season!

Fact is Quantum won twice as many Bassmaster Elite Series events as its closest competitor.

All great teams have standout players. But just as importantly, all great teams have camaraderie en route to unequaled success – and the current Quantum Fishing Team has both.
