Most baitcast reels fall into two different catagories: low-profile or round. Deciding which type of reel is best for you depends mostly on how you fish, and what techniques you prefer. While both types can be used for a wide variety of fishing styles, in some cases round reels may offer greater line capacities that are better suited to larger fish.
